Reports & Publications

CCM publishes many reports and publications on issues of importance to local governments.  New ones are regularly added.

CCM provides in-depth reports on specific issues of interest to local governments.  These reports are intended to educate legislators, other state officials, local officials, and the general public.

CCM Municipal Bulletins inform CCM members about emerging issues of management and policy, housing, federal issues and budget preparation guidelines.

CCM's State Capitol Report is designed to keep members informed about important legislative issues and actions taken by CCM-staff on behalf of towns and cities, as well as suggested actions you can take to protect the interests of your municipality.  These legislative reports will be sent to CCM-members periodically throughout the session.

CCM Mandates Report focus on pending bills that propose new state mandates on towns and cities.

These reports are sent to CCM members, State Legislators, and the Governor's office to keep them apprised of potentially harmful legislation.


CCM's General Assembly Handbook is published annually as a comprehensive guide to the Connecticut General Assembly - complete with a listing of all legislators and their contact information, key legislative deadlines, General Assembly committee membership, and information on the state Executive Branch.  In addition, there is helpful information for local officials seeking to better understand how to lobby their state delegation.

CCM publishes a host of other publicatons of interest to towns and cities: 

Connecticut Town & City, a bimonthly magazine, that reports on major intergovernmental issues, new ideas in municipal management, and cost-saving measures by towns; publications with innovative ideas for local governments; list of products and services; and other useful information for municipal and business members.


CCM issues annual reports summarizing all new laws passed during the legislative session(s) that will have an impact on towns and cities.
